Cell Phone companies are going to great lengths to disguise their cell phone towers. The companies say they are trying to make the cell phone towers blend in with the landscape and it can cost them 3 to 4 times the amount of cash to build a disguised cell phone tower. But, when cities like Berkeley, California are refusing to allow more cell phone towers to be built based on radiation health risks (Marin County, CA has the highest number of cell phone towers per square foot and also has a breast cancer rate of 40% higher than the national average!) and being taken to court by the cell phone companies, one must wonder if the extra money spent to disguise towers really has to do with aesthetic or just simply not wanting you to know that there are so many cell phone towers around! As more and more health studies point to links between cell phone tower radiations and illness, the cell phone tower disguises could simply be a cell phone company protective mechanism. After all, how many Americans would think that a giant cross tombstone in their local cemetery is actually a cell phone tower?
